Ayat about the ant. Ant

With the name of Allah, the Most Merciful and the Most Merciful.

And He sees a black ant crawling

on a dark night- nothing will remain a secret for Himabout…

Reading the Holy Quran, a person, with a light touch of his hand, carefully opens the mysterious door leading to a beautiful world, where knowledge illuminates his soul with a warm light. How many wonderful stories are hidden behind the patterned script of the verses of the Holy Book! Your mind, your heart, your soul are filled with that true tranquility that only Faith can give.

Reflecting on the verses, you realize that this world, by the Grace of the Almighty, is arranged in complete harmony, with great and immeasurable Wisdom, which embraces absolutely everything that the human eye is able to catch and what is hidden from it.

The Lord of the Worlds gave the Prophet Suleiman (peace be upon him) extraordinary benefits, as well as tremendous power and might. Once the prophet Suleiman turned to the Almighty with a prayer and said:

Did any of the people have power over the jinn? Yes, the prophet Suleiman, son of Daoud (Solomon, son of David).] He (Suleiman) said: “Lord, forgive me and grant me such a power [ability] that will not be available to anyone after me [in the future]. Truly [and there is no doubt], You are the immeasurable Giver [Your mercy and generosity are not limited by anything] ”.

And We [says the Lord of the Worlds] subdued him (Suleiman) the wind, which gently [comfortably carrying Suleiman] moved by his order wherever he wanted. And [they subdued him] the devil jinn, skillful builders [who erected beautiful buildings, architectural masterpieces, the construction of which is beyond the power of man] and divers (diving jinn) [who, diving into depths inaccessible to people, took out the precious gifts of the sea]. And [handed over under his leadership] others (jinn), chained in pairs in chains (fetters) [as punishment]. *

Holy Qur'an, 38: 35-38

As can be seen from the above verses, the Almighty heeded his prayer, subordinating the prophet Suleiman (peace be upon him) jinn, birds, and even the wind! Suleiman (peace be upon him) was endowed with great wisdom and had the ability to understand the language of other creations of Almighty Allah.

The army of the prophet Suleiman was huge and terrifying. It included not only people and genies, but even birds! The army was divided into groups, strict discipline reigned in it. The even ranks of his army were never broken.

One day his huge army went on a military campaign and arrived in the valley of ants.

They walked] until they reached an ant valley. [Seeing the huge army, the main] ant woman called out: “Ants! Take refuge in your dwellings so that Suleiman (Solomon) and his army do not trample you without noticing it! *

Holy Quran, 27:18

When the ant saw this countless host, she worried about the other ants and told them to hide! After all, the soldiers of the prophet could trample the tiny creations of the Almighty in an instant, without even knowing about it.

In response to this, he (Suleiman) smiled, [and then] laughed [rejoicing at what was happening and wondering at such unusual opportunities provided by God]. [In enthusiasm] he prayed: “Lord, encourage me (help me, inspire, inspire) to be [and always remain] grateful to You for what You gave me and my parents. Encourage me [inspire me to wisely manage myself, my desires, actions, so that] to do good, right deeds, deeds that you will be pleased with. Introduce me by Thy mercy into the number of the pious slaves (awarded the heavenly abode in eternity) [those from whom there is no harm; among the righteous, good; not standing still, but changing and changing for the better]. *

Holy Quran, 27:19

The prophet was surprised at how the ant woman took care of her relatives, and, realizing the alarm of the little creature of God, did not disturb their tiny world with her huge army.

A wonderful story from the life of a prophet is not only another example of a high disposition, these verses are an invaluable storehouse for those who strive for knowledge, guided by the signs of the Lord of the Worlds and his Book, which is a wonderful source of great wisdom.

In the above verses, we see reference to the reporting system in the ant colony. Throughout the twentieth century, entomologists carried out experiments and observations of ants.

For reference:

Entomology (from ancient Greek .ντομον - insect and λόγος - word, doctrine) - a branch of zoology that studies insects. Since the variety of insects is very large (more than 3 million species), their importance and the number of specialists studying them is also enormous.

It turned out that ants have a higher social organization of life than humans, as well as a very complex complex network of information transmission. Here is an excerpt from an article published in magazine « National Geographic"(165, No. 6, 777):

Every ant, no matter how big or small, receives millions or more of various chemical and visual signals through the complex sensory organs located on its head. The ant's brain contains 500,000 nerve cells, the eyes are connected, antennae-antennae act like the nose and fingertips of a person. The "spotlights" located under the mouth opening act as taste buds, and the hairs respond to any touch.

Ants constantly communicate with each other. You can often see two ants touching each other with antennae. But this is not an idle time for chatting, all their conversations are on business. The language of ants is the language of smell and gesture. Thanks to 500.000 of nerve cells located in a 2 mm body, ants have a perfect and complex message system that amazes the human imagination!

The messages transmitted by these insects are divided into several main categories: an alarm signal, a general gathering signal, a signal about the location of food, a call to start cleaning in an anthill, a signal to group, a recognition signal, and determination of group affiliation.

The social system created by these insects is perfect, it is far superior to the system of speech transmission of data inherent in human society. This signaling that ants produce requires a tremendous amount of knowledge in chemistry and anatomy.

There are about 8,000 known species of ants living on earth, and each species has its own special features that are unique to it.

For example, there are ants - leaf cutters, they drag the cut pieces of leaves into the anthill. But first they carefully clear the road. They move, hiding under pieces of leaves, at this moment they are very defenseless, since their jaw is busy, therefore, a smaller ant always sits on the leaves worn by leaf-cutting ants, which watches the surroundings and in case of danger immediately rushes to protect its kindred! The Almighty endowed these creatures with unprecedented qualities and abilities that are not fully studied by man.

Their lives are remarkably orderly and disciplined. In ant families there are representatives of various "professions" - tailors, farmers and even shepherds. There are also skilled weavers among the ants. They neatly attach the petals of plants to one another, and the result is very cozy houses. Ants live in a large friendly family, where everything is ordered, everyone works for the good of his family and fulfills the duties assigned to him. This beautiful creation of the Almighty first thinks about his loved ones, about the needs of his community, and then about himself - and in this is hidden the great Wisdom of Allah. For clarity, I suggest watching the video below:

Of course, the knowledge of these wise creations of Allah, their system of communication and social structure was not known to people in the 7th century AD, when the Holy Qur'an was revealed. For 14 centuries (!!!) before the discovery of such amazing facts by scientists, the Quran reflects what is a sign for believers. An entire chapter of the Holy Scriptures is named after these little insects!

Undoubtedly, the Holy Quran is an inexhaustible source of knowledge for all mankind. And in conclusion I would like to cite the following verses:

Indeed, in the creation of heaven and Earth [which, by the will of Allah (God), appeared out of nothing and without an original model and example], in that night gives way to day [by the way, studying this most complicated process, only a fool can not be surprised at the perfection of the mechanism of changing the day and night], there are signs [indicating the existence of the Creator of all this, but they are noticeable and obvious only] for those who have reason.

[The owners of the mind are] those who mention the Almighty [do not forget about Him] in a standing position, sitting or lying on their side. Whoever thinks, thinks about the creation of heaven and the Earth [saying]: “Lord, what You created is not false [is not something empty and worthless]. You are perfect [infinitely far from that which does not correspond to You]. Protect us from torment in Hell. *

Holy Quran, 3: 190-191

Peace to you brothers and sisters. Strive for knowledge, verily, there is great good in it!

  1. Ta, syn. These are the verses of the Koran, clear Scripture,
  2. guidance [to the straight path] and good news for those who believe,
  3. who perform ritual prayer, bring sunset and believe in the future life.
  4. Indeed, to those who do not believe in the future life, We have presented their deeds in a beautiful light, so that they wander in confusion.
  5. They are the ones for whom the worst punishment is destined, and in the future life they are the ones who suffer the most.
  6. Indeed, you [, Muhammad,] receive the Qur'an from the Wise, the Knowing.
  7. [Remember, Muhammad,] Musa said to his family: “Indeed, I see fire. I will bring you news of him or a burning brand. Maybe you will warm up. "
  8. When he approached the fire, a voice rang out: “Blessed is he who is on fire and who is near him. Allah Most Pure, Lord [of the inhabitants of] the worlds!
  9. About Musa "! Indeed, I am Allah, Great, Wise.
  10. Throw down your staff! " When Musa [threw it and] saw the staff wriggling like a snake, he rushed back without looking back. [Allah said]: “O Musa! Do not be afraid, for the messengers should not be afraid before Me.
  11. [Only those who should be afraid] have committed iniquity. And if after the evil deed he commits a good deed in return, then I am, after all, a forgiving, merciful.
  12. Put your hand in your bosom, and it will become [completely] white, without any stain - [this is one of] nine signs for Fir'aun and his people, for they are a sinful people. "
  13. When Our obvious signs were presented before them, they declared, "This is obvious sorcery."
  14. They rejected them unrighteously and with pride, although in their hearts they were convinced of their [truth]. Look, then, how those who commit lawlessness ended!
  15. We gave knowledge to Dawood and Sulaiman, and they said: "Praise be to Allah, who lifted us up above many of His believing slaves."
  16. Sulaiman succeeded Davud and said: “O people! We were taught the language of the birds, and we were given all the blessings. Indeed, this is the clear favor of [Allah]. "
  17. His troops of jinn, people and birds were called to Sulaiman, and they were divided [into squads], and they [were ordered] to march.
  18. When they arrived in the valley of the ants, one of the ant said: “O ants! Hide in your nests so that Sulaiman and his warriors do not accidentally trample you. "
  19. Sulaiman smiled, laughed at her words and said: “Lord! Instill in me gratitude for your mercy shown to me and my parents. [Encourage me to] do good that you will be pleased with. Accept me by Your mercy as one of Your righteous servants. "
  20. [One day Sulaiman] looked at the birds and asked: “What's wrong with me? Why can't I see the hoopoe? Maybe he's not there?
  21. I will certainly punish him severely or cut off his head if he does not give a convincing excuse. "
  22. [Sulaiman] did not wait long, [and the hoopoe flew in] and said: “I learned about what you do not know. I came to you from Saba with reliable information.
  23. Indeed, I found there a woman who rules over them, she is given everything, and she has a great throne.
  24. I learned that she and her people worship the sun instead of Allah. Shaitan presented them their deeds in a beautiful light, led them off the right path - so that they do not follow the straight path,
  25. so that they do not worship Allah, who brings forth [into the light] everything that is hidden in heaven and on earth, who knows what you hide and what you say openly.
  26. [He] is the Lord, besides whom there is no god, the Lord of the great throne. "
  27. [Sulaiman] said: “We will see if you are telling the truth or lying.
  28. Go with this message of mine and throw it to them. Then turn away [from them] and see what they answer. "
  29. [The hoopoe delivered a letter from Sulaiman to the queen. After reading it,] she said: “O noble men! Truly, a letter of praise has been delivered to me.
  30. It is from Sulaiman, and it [says]: “.
  31. Do not be exalted before me, and appear humble before me. "
  32. [The queen] said: “O noble men! Give me a solution in my case. I have never made a final decision without your [advice]. "
  33. [The nobles] replied, “We have strength and great might. And it's up to you to decide. Think and make a decision. "
  34. [The queen] said: “Truly, kings, when they invade any country, plunder it and turn noble men into humiliated ones. This is what they do.
  35. But I will send them gifts and will wait for the ambassadors to return with it. "
  36. When [the queen's messenger] arrived at Sulaiman, the king said, “Do you really want to please me with wealth? What Allah has given me is better than what He has given you. Yes, you are proud of your gifts.
  37. Return to them, [messenger], and we will descend with an army, before which they will not resist, and drive them out of the country humiliated and despised. "
  38. [Then Sulaiman] said: “O noble men! Which of you will bring her (the queen's) throne before they appear obedient to me? "
  39. A certain ifrit of the jinn said: “I will bring it to you before you get up from your place. After all, I am strong in this and worthy of trust. "
  40. And the one who had the knowledge from the Scripture said: "I will bring it to you in the blink of an eye." When [Sulaiman] saw the [throne of the queen] set before him, he thought: “This is the mercy of my Lord, sent down to test me: am I grateful [by nature] or ungrateful. Whoever is grateful will benefit from his gratitude. And whoever is ungrateful, then Allah is all-powerful, magnanimous. "
  41. [Then Sulaiman] said: "Redesign this throne for her, and we will see if she is following the direct path or she is one of those who do not follow the direct path."
  42. When [the queen of Saba] arrived, she was asked, "Is your throne like this?" She replied: "Yes, as if he was himself", [And Sulaiman said:] "We were given knowledge before this test, and we were surrendered [to Allah]."
  43. She was deterred [from worshiping Allah] by what she worshiped instead of Allah, for she belonged to an infidel people.
  44. She was told: "Enter the palace." When she looked, it seemed to her that [in front of her] the depths of water, and she bared her legs to the knees, [lifting her dress]. [Sulaiman] said, "This is a tall palace paved with glass." [The Queen of Saba] exclaimed, “Lord! Indeed, I have done harm to myself, [now] together with Sulaiman I surrender to Allah, the Lord [of the inhabitants of] the worlds. "
  45. We sent their brother Salih to the Thamud tribe with the order: "Worship Allah," but they broke up into two quarrels.
  46. [Salih] said: “O my people! Why do you strive more for evil than for good? Why don't you ask Allah for forgiveness? Perhaps you would be pardoned. "
  47. [The Samudites] replied, "We see a bad omen in you and in those who are with you." [Salih] said, “Your bad omen [depends] on Allah. Yes, you are being tested. "
  48. There were nine people in the city who did wickedness on earth and did no good.
  49. They said: "Swear to each other by Allah that we will attack Salih and his family at night, and then we will announce to his closest relative:" We were not present at the murder of his family, and we are speaking the truth. "
  50. They plotted deceit, and We plotted [in revenge], but they did not know [about it].
  51. And look what was the outcome of their cunning! We eradicated them together with the entire people.
  52. Here [in front of you] their houses, destroyed for their violence. Verily, in this are the signs for people who know.
  53. And those who believed and were God-fearing, We saved.
  54. [Remember Muhammad] how Lut said to his people, “Will you do abominations in your right mind?
  55. Are you going to lust for men instead of women? Yes, you are reckless people! "
  56. These people did not find any other answer, except for the appeal: "Drive the family of Lut out of your city, for he and his family are righteous, [not like us]."
  57. We saved him together with his family, except for his wife, whom We have ordained to remain among the wicked.
  58. We brought down [stone] rain on them. Terrible is this rain for those who are admonished!
  59. Say, [Muhammad]: “Praise be to Allah and peace be upon His servants whom He has chosen. Is Allah better or those whom you worship along with Him?
  60. [Idols are better] or the One who created the heavens and the earth, brought down rain for you from heaven, with which We have grown beautiful gardens, [while] you could not grow a single tree? Is there any [other] god alongside Allah? " But they are people who deviate [from the right path].
  61. [Say: “They are better] or the One who made the earth a dwelling place, led rivers through it, erected unshakable mountains, and set up a barrier between fresh and salty waters? Is there any [other] god alongside Allah? " But most of them do not know about it.
  62. [Say: “They are better] or the One who satisfies the prayer of the afflicted when he cries out to Him, removes evil and appoints you on earth as heirs? Is there any [other] god alongside Allah? A little you think about it! "
  63. [Say, "They are better] or the One who leads you straight through the darkness of land and sea? Who directs the winds with good news before His mercy? Is there any [other] god alongside Allah? " Above Allah are those whom [the disbelievers] worship [along with Him]!
  64. [Say: “They are better] or the One who gives birth to the beginning of creation and then repeats it, who gives us food from heaven and earth? Is there any [other] god alongside Allah? " Say, "Give your reasons if you are telling the truth."
  65. Say: “Of those who are in heaven and on earth, only Allah knows the secret, and [people] do not even know when they will be resurrected.
  66. Moreover, [people] did not know [the essence of] the future life, they are tormented by doubts about it, they are blind before it. "
  67. The unbelievers say: “Are we and our fathers, after we are reduced to dust, rise [alive] from the graves?
  68. This was promised to us and our fathers for a long time. But these are just fairy tales of ancient people. "
  69. Answer [, Muhammad]: "Wander the earth - and you will see how the sinners ended."
  70. Do not grieve for them and do not worry about the intrigues that they are plotting.
  71. They ask: "When will the promised come, if you are telling the truth?"
  72. Answer [, Muhammad]: "Perhaps something that you want to accelerate is already approaching you."
  73. Indeed, your Lord shows mercy to people, but most of them are ungrateful.
  74. Indeed, your Lord knows for certain what they conceal in their hearts, and what they do not hide.
  75. And there is nothing in heaven or on earth that is hidden, which would not be in a clear book [heavenly].
  76. Indeed, this Qur'an explains to the children of Israel much of what they quarrel with one another.
  77. Indeed, the Qur'an is a guide to the straight path and a mercy for believers.
  78. Indeed, your Lord will judge between them by His [right] judgment. He is great, knowledgeable.
  79. Put your trust in Allah, for you adhere to the obvious truth.
  80. Truly, you will not make either the dead or the deaf hear [your] call, [especially] when they turn back.
  81. You will not lead the blind out of [darkness] delusion into the straight path. You can force to listen only to those who believe in Our signs and who have surrendered [to Allah].
  82. When [Our] judgment overtakes them, We will bring to them from the earth a certain animal that will proclaim that they (that is, those who did not convert) did not believe in Our signs.
  83. [Think, Muhammad,] about the day when We will gather from each community a crowd of those who rejected Our signs and distribute them into groups.
  84. When they appear [before Allah], He will ask: “Have you rejected My signs without comprehending [their meaning]? So what did you do? "
  85. The sentence will fall on them for their atrocities, and they will not utter a word [in defense].
  86. Have they not made sure that We have created night as a time of rest for them and day as a time of illumination [of their deeds]? In all this are signs for believers.
  87. [Remember, Muhammad], of the day when the trumpet will sound. And then those who are in heaven and on earth will be afraid, except for those whom Allah favors. And all will stand before Him humbly.
  88. And you will see that the mountains, which you considered to be unshakable, move like [light] clouds created by Allah, who fulfilled everything perfectly. Indeed, He knows what you are doing.
  89. Those who appear on that day with good deeds will be rewarded with more [than these deeds] and will not experience any fear.
  90. And those who appear with evil deeds will be thrown into the fire [with the words]: "Thus is it rewarded to you according to your deeds!"
  91. [Say, Muhammad]: “I am commanded only to worship the Lord of this city (ie, Mecca), which he declared forbidden. All that exists belongs to Him, but I am commanded to surrender [to Allah]
  92. and proclaim the Qur'an. " Anyone who walks the straight road benefits himself. And to the one who has gone [off the straight path], say: "I am only an exhortator."
  93. [Say]: “Praise be to Allah. He will show you His signs and you will recognize them. And the Lord is aware of what you are doing. "

Dua queen from Saba (Sava)

رَبِّ إِنِّي ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِي وَأَسْلَمْتُ مَعَ سُلَيْمَانَ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ

Rabbi "Innī Žalamtu Nafsī Wa" Aslamtu Ma`a Sulaymāna Lillahi Rabbi Al-`Ālamīna

42. When she arrived, she was told: "Is this your throne?" She said, "As if this is he." Suleiman (Solomon) said: "Knowledge was given to us before it, and we are Muslims."

43. She was hindered by what she worshiped instead of Allah, because she belonged to an unbelieving people.

44. She was told: "Enter the palace." Seeing him, she took him for a watery abyss and bared her legs. He said: "This is a polished crystal palace." She said, “Lord! I was being unfair to myself. I submit together with Suleiman (Solomon) to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. "

The meaning of this and similar verses, which are at the very beginning of some suras of the Koran, is unknown to anyone except the Almighty. There have been some suggestions about their meaning, but these judgments do not have a solid scientific and theological basis.

The Creator is transcendental and immaterial, but takes care of people limited by earthly laws and limits, bringing down His mercy and wisdom to their level, addressing them and informing them through His chosen ones from among the people themselves.

See also the following verses of the Holy Quran: 7: 108, 20:22, 26:33.

“To Musa (Moses) We [says the Lord of the Worlds] gave nine obvious [basic] signs” (see Holy Quran, 17: 101).

Another version of the translation of this part of the verse: "[Go] with nine [obvious] signs [which We have given you] to Pharaoh and his people ..."

For those who nevertheless knelt before the obvious signs of God, see, for example, the following verses of the Holy Quran: 7: 119–122, 20:70, 26: 46–48.

Pharaoh, retinue and "invincible" army were sunk here on earth, and will be there forever in Hell. Bitter fate and just retribution.

See the following verses of the Holy Quran about this: 7: 136, 137.

No matter how strange it may be, a huge number of "educated" and "modern" people who are far from the "medieval" religiosity do not know how to live and why, and therefore in the world there are incredibly many drug addicts, alcoholics, embezzlers, suicides, people who deliberately commit serious crimes and are simply lost, trying to stick to one or the other shore in search of the meaning of life, but every time they are disappointed. God's prophets and messengers unselfishly taught others how to live and why, expecting generous rewards only from the Lord. They taught so that as many people as possible had the opportunity to become happy in both worlds without damage and unnecessary torment, suffering, torture. You can often meet those who go to extremes, who lack the knowledge and wisdom to understand that the Creator does not need their “sacrifices”, but guides a person along the path of minimal friction and losses, to happiness and well-being, where there is no crampedness, vain vanity and overwhelming the soul of hatred, envy, where there is enough room for everyone who thinks not only about themselves, but also about others. For those, by the way, it is much easier to overcome laziness and sluggishness, the clumsiness of the "fat toad" inside themselves, which prevents all of us from moving forward, overcoming difficulties and achieving high, transforming into a noble, positive Personality. But each of us should have stirred it up (this fat and clumsy toad), brought to life, in an appropriate "sports" form, so that knowledge deeds and the feeling of happiness that overwhelms us in every day not in vain to go without stopping, in words and deeds thanks to the One who gave us an dishonorable amount of benefits, opportunities, I remind you that have a limited period of implementation.

Having looked through the prism of what has been said at our life, which we often value little when (while greatly overestimating temporary earthly blessings), let us return to the two great prophets - Daud (David) and Suleiman (Solomon), who lived a rich worldly life and were awarded infinite happiness and prosperity in eternal life.

The meaning is just that, with a note of modesty.

Try to hear the response of this prayer in your heart: thankslike a full-flowing river overflowing its banks from the abundant rain of Divine generosity ...

Suleiman (Solomon) was one of the nineteen children of Daoud (David). The inheritance referred to in the verse does not imply material wealth. The latter, if any, were distributed equally, fairly among all children.

Suleiman (Solomon) also, with God's help, had the ability to control the winds and powerful jinn. The Qur'an says: “And We [says the Lord of the Worlds] subdued him (Suleiman) the wind, calmly and calmly (softly) moving wherever he wishes. And [they subjugated him] the devil jinn, skillful builders [who erected beautiful buildings, architectural masterpieces beyond human strength] and divers (diving jinn) [who, diving into depths inaccessible to people, took out the precious gifts of the sea]. And [handed over under his leadership] others (jinn), chained in pairs. This [the wisdom, knowledge given to him, as well as power over the jinn, the wind, like many other things] is Our gift. Share [O Suleiman] with whom you wish [use it without restrictions at your discretion], and you will not be asked [for who gave what and how much, and to whom he refused].

Indeed, he (Suleiman) before Us [the Creator says] has a special position in the secular abode, and it is wonderful where he will return [which will be rewarded in eternity. In other words: no matter how limitless and majestic the opportunities provided to him in the form of power and riches were, they did not negatively affect the position of Suleiman before the Lord of the worlds, neither in the worldly abode, nor in the eternal] "(see Holy Quran, 38: 36-40).

The words " everything is”They say not so much that they had absolutely everything that is present on earth, but reveal the presence of a sincere feeling of contentment with what is available, multiplying worldly goods and leading to the eternal. The Qur'an says: “[Remember how] the Lord informed you:“ If you are grateful, then no doubt, I will give you even more [worldly and eternal blessings]. But if you are ungrateful [stingy, vain, arrogant, wasteful, self-confident; forget about God, and attribute achievements and successes to your resourcefulness and perseverance], know - My punishment is severe ”(Holy Quran, 14: 7).

A person's possibilities are enormous if he does not bury his head in the sand.

Doing good is one of the forms of gratitude to the Almighty for the provided opportunities, gifts and a certain guarantee of their preservation and increase. The Quran says: “Why would the Lord punish you if you became grateful to Him and believed. [In response to your gratitude] He rewards generously and knows everything ”(Holy Quran, 4: 147).

Godliness is devotion in the heart and at the same time following the precepts of God. A pious person is always kind and just.

I will note that a person's religiosity does not imply the obligatory presence of piety in him. Prophet Muhammad (may God bless him and greet him) said: “The best of you [believers, religious] are those from whom you expect [only] good and do not expect anything bad [you feel safe with him; I am sure that he will not deceive, betray, will not let down], but the worst - from whom you can always expect something bad and you will not get good ”. See: at-Tirmizi M. Sunan at-tirmidhi [Code of Hadiths of Imam at-Tirmidhi]. Riyadh: al-Afkar ad-dawliya, 1999. P. 374, hadith no. 2263, "sahih"; as-Suyuty J. Al-Jami 'as-sagyr [Small collection]. Beirut: al-Qutub al-'ilmiyya, 1990, p. 250, hadith no. 4113, sahih.

The meaning of the word "Salih", used in the verse and implying the quality of the prophets and the righteous, in relation to an ordinary person is as follows: he is so virtuous that he is always ready to do good, no matter how "untimely" it turns out to be for him; not standing still, but changing and changing for the better. See, for example: Al-Mu'jam al-Arabi al-Asasi [Fundamental Explanatory Dictionary of the Arabic Language]. Ministry of Education, Culture and Sciences: Larus, [b. year]. P. 744.

Satisfied means grateful, after all, satisfaction with the wrong approach inhibits the development of personality, its growth and eventually stops, including the process of degradation.

    See: at-Tirmizi M. Sunan at-tirmidhi [Code of Hadiths of Imam at-Tirmidhi]. Riyadh: al-Afkar ad-dawliyya, 1999. P. 381, hadith no. 2305, "hasan" (part of the hadith); al-‘Ajluni I. Qashf al-hafa ’wa muzil al-ilbas. In 2 hours. Beirut: Al-Qutub al-‘ilmiya, 2001. Part 1. P. 36, hadith no. 85 (part of the hadith); as-Suyuty J. Al-Jami 'as-sagyr [Small collection]. Beirut: al-Qutub al-il'ilmiyya, 1990, p. 14, hadith no. 118 (part of the hadith); Zaglul M. Mawsu'a atraf al-hadith an-nabawi al-sharif [Encyclopedia of the beginnings of noble prophetic sayings]. In 11 volumes, Beirut: al-Fikr, 1994.Vol. 1.P. 89.

“[Remember how] the Lord informed you:“ If you are grateful, then - no doubt - I will give you even more [worldly and eternal blessings; and gratitude is when you are above what is given to you, and not in it and not limited by it, when you believe and are constant in goodness, regardless of the changing circumstances around you]. But if you are ungrateful [stingy, vain, arrogant, wasteful, self-confident; forget about God, and attribute achievements and successes to your resourcefulness and constancy], know - My punishment is truly severe ”(Holy Quran, 14: 7).

    Hadith from Ibn 'Umar; St. x. al-Bayhaky and others. See, for example: Zaglul M. Mawsu'a atraf al-hadith an-nabawi al-sharif. T. 1.P. 42; al-Suyuty J. Al-Jami ’as-sagyr. P. 10, hadith no. 65, saheeh.

The hoopoe is a bird with a variegated plumage, a fan-shaped crest and a long, slightly curved beak. Destroys insect pests.

In all tafsirs it is mentioned that the queen's name was Bilkys.

She is considered the legendary ruler of the state of Saba (Sava), which arose in the 10th century. BC BC, she is also known as the Queen of Sheba. The state of Saba was located approximately on the territory of present-day Yemen. See: The latest dictionary of foreign words and expressions. Minsk: Contemporary Literary, 2007.S. 712.

See: Holy Qur'an, 7:54 and commentaries.

Its council of state consisted of 312 men, each representing 10,000 citizens. See, for example: as-Sabuni M. Mukhtasar tafsir ibn kasir [Abbreviated tafsir ibn kasir]. In 3 volumes. Beirut: al-Kalyam, [b. year]. T. 2.P. 669.

Thus, he, Suleiman, without the slightest loss, decided to convincingly demonstrate his complete superiority.

It is mentioned that the distance between the two states exceeded 2000 kilometers, and her throne was behind seven castles and was strictly guarded.

B aboutmost of the commentators are inclined to believe that this was one of the ministers and people close to Solomon.

The Qur'an says: "The clothes of piety [when you avoid the obviously forbidden and do what is obligatory before God and people to the best of your strength and capabilities] is the best" (see Holy Qur'an, 7:26). This is the kind of clothing that will hide flaws and shortcomings, cover “nakedness”, “warm” and protect.

Hadith from Abu Zarr; St. x. Muslim. See, for example: Nuzha al-muttakyn. Sharh riyad al-salihin [Walk of the righteous. Commentary on the book "Gardens of the Wellbeing"]. In 2 volumes. This does not mean spiritual relationship, but blood relationship, he was one of these people, local.

They compared the prophet Salih and those who believed with him to a bird that portends evil. There was a sign among their people that it was not good to see a bird in flight with its wings folded in a certain way or moving along a certain trajectory ...

Salih replied to their reply: “Your bird with God ”, that is, any occurring phenomena,“ omens ”do not matter in predicting the future, everything is at the disposal of the Almighty: what is determined by Him, approved as punishment, encouragement, testing, is what a person receives. Therefore, it is necessary to have a correct and positive attitude, accompanied by the correctness of actions.

13.

(thirteen). When Our signs came to them clarifying, they said: "This is obvious magic!"

14.

(fourteen). And they denied them, although their souls were convinced of the truth, through unrighteousness and exaltation. See what was the end of those who bring corruption!

15.

(fifteen). We gave Daud and Sulaiman knowledge. And they said: "Praise be to Allah, who gave us an advantage over many of His slave believers!"

16.

(sixteen). And he inherited Sulaiman Daud and said: "O people, we have been taught the language of birds, and everything is given to us! Truly, this is a clear advantage!"

17.

(17). And his troops of jinn, people and birds were gathered to Sulaiman, and they were distributed.

18.

(eighteen). And when they reached the ant valley, one of the ant said: "O ants, enter your dwelling, let Sulaiman and his troops not trample you without noticing it."

20.

(20). And he began to look for birds and said: "Why can't I see the hoopoe? Or is he missing?"

21.

(21). I will punish him with severe punishment, or I will kill him, or he will come to me with obvious authority. "

22.

(22). He did not stay long and said: "I learned what you do not know, and came to you from Saba with the right news.

23.

(23). I have found a woman who rules them, and everything is given to her, and she has a great throne.

24.

(24). I found that she and her people worship the sun instead of Allah, and Satan painted their deeds with them and turned them away from the path, and they do not go straight, -

25.

(25). lest they worship Allah, who brings out what is hidden in heaven and on earth and knows what you hide and what you reveal.

26.

(26). Allah - there is no deity but Him, the Lord of the great throne! "

27.

(27). He said, "We'll see if you told the truth or you are a liar.

28.

(28). Go with this letter of mine and throw it to them, and then turn away from them and see what they object. "

29.

(29). She said: "Oh know, a venerable letter has been thrown to me.

30.

(thirty). After all, it is from Sulaiman, and after all, it is in the name of Allah, the merciful, the merciful.

31.

(31). "Lest you be exalted before me, and come surrendered."

32.

(32). She said: "Oh know, give me a solution in my case, I cannot solve the case until you are with me."

33.

(33). They said, "We have strength and we have great power, and you have the power. See what you command."

34.

(34). She said: “When kings enter a village, they destroy it and make the glorious of its inhabitants humiliated — and so they do.

35.

(35). and I will send them a gift and see what the sent ones return with. "

36.

(36). When he came to Sulaiman, he said: "Do you help me with wealth? After all, what Allah gave me is better than what He gave you. Only you rejoice at your gifts.

37.

(37). Return to them, and we will come to them with troops against which they cannot resist, and we will bring them out humiliated, and they will be insignificant. "

38.

(38). He said: "Oh, to know which of you will come to me with her throne, before they come to me obedient?"

39.

(39). Ifrit of the jinn said: "I will come to you with him before you rise from your place; I am for this strong and faithful."

40.

(40). The one who had the knowledge from the book said: "I will come to you with him, before your eyes return to you." When he saw him established in himself, he said: "This is from the mercy of my Lord, to test me - whether I will be grateful or unfaithful. He who is grateful is grateful to himself, and who is unfaithful, my Lord is rich and merciful." ...

41.

(41). He said, "Change her throne for her; let's see if she finds the straight path or is one of those who do not go the straight path."

42.

(42). And when she arrived, she was told: "Is this your throne?" She said, "As if it were him. We were given knowledge before, and we became obedient."

43.

(43). She was turned away by what she worshiped instead of Allah; verily, she was from the unfaithful people!

44.

(44). She was told: "Enter the palace!" When she saw him, she took him for a depth of water and opened her legs. He said: "After all, this is a smooth palace of crystal."

45.

She said: "Lord, I offended myself and surrendered myself together with Sulaiman to Allah, the Lord of the worlds!"

46.

(45). We sent their brother, Salih, to the Thamuds: "Worship Allah!" But here are their two parties, which are at war.

47.

(46). He said: "O my people! Why do you hasten the evil before the good? Why don't you ask Allah for forgiveness? Perhaps you would have been pardoned!"

48.

(47). They said: "We judged you by the birds and who is with you." He said: "Your bird is with Allah. Yes, you are a tested people!"

49.

(48). And there were nine people in the city who spread wickedness on earth, not good.

50.

(49). They said: "Swear by Allah to one another, we will attack him and his family at night, and then we will tell his intercessor:" We were not at the death of his family, and we speak the truth. "

51.

(50). They plotted a trick, and We plotted a trick, but they did not know.

52.

(51). See what was the end of their cunning! We have destroyed them and their people - all.

53.

(52). And now - these are their houses, destroyed because they were unjust. Truly, this is a sign for the people who know!

54.

(53). And We saved those who believed and were God-fearing.

55.

(54). And Luta ... here he said to his people: "Will you really commit an abomination when you see?

56.

(55). Are you going to come to men out of passion instead of women? Yes, you are an ignorant people! "

57.

(56). And the answer of his people was that they said: "Take the clan of Lut out of your village: after all, they are people who want to be clean."

58.

(57). We saved him and his family, except for his wife, whom we made the remainder.

59.

(58). And We poured rain on them; and the rain of those whom they admonished is bad!

60.

(59). Say: "Praise be to Allah, and peace be upon His servants, whom He has chosen! Is Allah better or what you are doing with Him?"

61.

(60). Was it the one who created the heavens and the earth and brought down water from heaven to you, and We have grown with it gardens possessing splendor - you were not able to grow their trees? Or some god with Allah? Yes, they are dodging people!

62.

(61). Is it the one who made the earth solid, and made channels in its crevices, and made solid ones for it, and made a barrier between the two seas? Or some god with Allah? Yes, most do not know them!

63.

(62). Is he who answers to the oppressed when he cries out to Him, and removes evil, and makes you governors on earth? Or some god with Allah? Little do you remember.

64.

(63). Is it the one who will bring you down in the darkness of land and sea, and who sends the winds with good news before His mercy? Or some god with Allah? Above Allah is that which is added to Him!

65.

(64). Is it the one who first began creation and then resumes it, and who feeds you from heaven and earth? Or some god along with Allah? "Say:" Give your proof if you are telling the truth! "

66.

(65). Say: "He who is in heaven and on earth does not know who is hidden except Allah, and they do not know,

67.

When will they be resurrected! "

68.

(66). Yes, their knowledge has spread to the future life - yes, they are in hesitation about it, yes, they are blind!

69.

(67). And those who do not believe say: "When we become dust, and our fathers, will we be brought out?

70.

(68). It was already promised to us and our fathers before. These are just the tales of the first! "

71.

(69). Say, "Walk on the earth and see what the end of sinners was!"

72.

(70). And do not yearn for them and do not be embarrassed by what they are up to.

73.

(71). They say, "When is this promise if you are telling the truth?"

74.

(72). Say: "Maybe some of the things you are hurrying with are coming after you."

75.

(73). And truly, your Lord is the owner of mercy to people, but most of them are ungrateful!

76.

(74). And truly, your Lord knows what their breasts hide and what they reveal!

77.

(75). There is nothing hidden either in heaven or on earth that is not in a clear book.

78.

(76). Truly, this Qur'an tells the sons of Israel most of their differences.

79.

(77). And verily, he is the guide and mercy for the faithful.

80.

(78). Indeed, your Lord will decide between them by His judgment. He is great, leading!

81.

(79). Rely on Allah, for you are in the clear truth!

82.

(80). Truly, you will not make the dead hear, and you will not make the deaf call when they turn back.

83.

(81). And you will not lead the blind out of their delusion on a straight path. You will make to hear only those who believe in Our signs, and they are surrendered.

84.

(82). And when the word falls on them, We will bring them an animal out of the earth that will speak to them - people who were not convinced of Our signs.

85.

(83). On the day when We will gather from every nation a crowd of those who considered Our signs to be a lie - and now they are distributed.

86.

(84). And when they came, He said: "Did you consider My signs a lie, not embracing them with knowledge, or what did you do?"

87.

(85). And the word fell on them because they were unjust, and they do not speak.

88.

(86). Didn't they see that We made the night so that they would rest during it, and the day illuminate. Truly, in this are the signs for the people of believers!

89.

(87). And on the day when those who are in the heavens and those on earth, except those whom Allah wills, will trumpet and fear, and everyone will come to Him with humiliation.

90.

(88). And you will see that the mountains that you considered motionless - here they go, like a cloud goes by the deed of Allah, who has completed everything perfectly. Truly, He is knowledgeable about what you do!

91.

(89). He who comes with a good one gets even better and they are safe from all fear that day.

92.

(90). And those who come with the bad have their faces cast into the fire. Aren't you rewarded just for what you did?
