Preparing and uploading images to Depositphotos

So, after successful acceptance - you are on your main working page (or) . Here, in conjunction with the user menu, there is almost all the functionality of the "Seller" (Seller).

You shouldn't be surprised that there is nothing in the portfolio - exam photos will have to be uploaded againsince they are not included in the list of approved for sale.

When attributing photos, you can select "Editorial use only" - for those photos that, for example, contain an image of people on which you do not have releases. Unlike Shutter, the Deposit does not impose strict requirements for the description of this type of photo. In addition, I should note that I tried to upload photos with masked people to the Depository without specifying the Editorial license - and they were accepted from me (see the "People" folder).

Additional work - you will have to assign two categories from the proposed list to each photo. However, for our convenience, for photos of the same type, you can select a group of photos and assign them all at once the same categories (the lower one in the two pictures is the entire list of categories). Be careful with multilingual interfaces! If your categories are in English, then when you switch the interface language to Russian and enter the photo editing mode, you will see in the editing area that no categories have been assigned to the picture. Support! Help, I have lost categories in my entire portfolio! No, switch to English and make sure they are there.

And further important note: by assigning categories to one or several images of the same type, don't forget to deselect them, because chances are you will then select other images, assign them to different categories, then do that for the next group of images - and the result is that all processed images will get the categories of the last group... It will be a shame when people's photos fall into the Nature category or vice versa! :-)

At first glance, it is not very clear how to edit keywords here. Having selected a specific photo and clicking "Edit", on the left you will see an editing area in which you can adjust categories, etc. But to go to editing keywords, you need to click on the "Edit in Selected Files" button and then the corresponding form will open (in the picture on the right ). And by the way, do not forget to remove prepositions and articles ("in", "the", etc.) there, since this stock of a phrase does not support as keywords, breaking compound keywords into separate tokens.

With the transition from lightboxes to folders, the corresponding functionality was also finalized - when you press an inconspicuous circle with a cross at the bottom left in the "Favorites" area, a menu appears in icons with functions for manipulating images in folders. The area itself may not be noticed at first, since it is in a "collapsed" state. Find this bookmark at the very bottom of the page and click on it to expand it.
